Form: Set questions as required/optional
Feature Request – Optional Questions in Forms 2.0
Loving Forms 2.0—a great improvement. One key feature missing: the ability to mark questions as required or optional. Right now, every question forces a response, which isn't always ideal. Adding a simple toggle to set required vs. optional would massively improve user experience and completion rates.
Would be a small change with a big impact. Hope to see it added!
P.S. If this feature is already implemented and I just missed it, I apologize for the waste of time!

Skipping video testimonial feature
I want to be able to allow customers to leave a text review OR a video testimonial and SKIP option but it won't allow people to proceed and skip the video function. this is losing people and not willing to continue as it doesn't allow them to skip. There is no function to skip and continue??? this is very frustrating and not ideal. If this can't be modified, will move to another program that can support this feature

@Mazzi Thanks for the suggestion.
At the moment, no option for customers to skip a question. They can only choose to submit text or video testimonial.
What you can do is to set the question only to accept text testimonials.
After that, you can curate the list - and send a different form with video testimonials only for the customers that might be up for it.
Anyway, put this up for discussion + wait for more upvotes.

Thanks for the feedback.
Waiting for more upvotes to see if most users want the same thing so we can ship it. 💜

Allow Users to Opt out from answering all the questions
I have had a suggestion from someone who tested our form to allow the user to opt out of completing all the questions, which would eliminate someone who doesn’t want to answer more than 1 or 2 from completing the form at all.

I like the idea of having 3-5 optional questions. I want to make it easier for customers to find inspiration about what to say with question ideas, and they don’t all have the same positive feedback, so letting them pick and choose from 5 optional questions to only fill 1 or 2 would be perfect. It seems like now they have to answer all.

The 2.0 forms is too long and doesn’t allow to simplify and doesn’t have and or if condition functions. You can’t skip a question as a user or moving up or down features/questions and why is the marketing consent button not able to be consolidated or automatically consented as it is asked in the email invitation to client?
